About Professional Property Finders
Dedicated to helping find your new dream home in Scotland
Using my experience in the Scottish property sector, you’ll have someone reliable in your corner taking the headache away from relocating.
Specialist property finder, Edinburgh
Hi, I’m Alasdair Brodie, founder of Professional Property Finders in bonnie Edinburgh.
My journey into the property world started with buying a flat in 2020 – an investment that turned into a costly learning experience and a real headache. This wasn’t easy, but it fueled my lifelong fascination with the property market and I learned so much in the process.
From 2022, I built my professional expertise through roles as a lettings agent, estate agent and in an auctioneering house, soaking up knowledge from seasoned property experts like an eager sponge.
Over time, I realised I wanted to offer a service rooted in trust, transparency, and results. A few property-related business experiments later, Professional Property Finders was born.
Think of me as your ‘secret weapon’, handing everything from comprehensive market insights to managing logistics and securing trusted local contacts—and I won’t rest until you’ve got the keys to your new dream home.
We’ll look after and protect you in the complex world of property acquisition
Professional Property Finders are really responsive, highly knowledgeable and truly effective. I could not have found my new home in Scotland (in just one week) without their genuinely enthusiastic support in finding my dream home. They also assisted me through the offer and legal processes.
As an overseas buyer this support was absolutely invaluable. It was beneficial far beyond my expectations to be so committedly helped by Professional Property Finders. Thank you.

Alasdair is an absolute pleasure to deal with. He’s a very honourable young man and clearly wants to help people find not just a house, but a house that they like.
It’ll reduce the amount of time, energy, and probably money in the long term when you’re looking and looking and looking… I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Property relocation services in Scotland
The process of buying a house is stressful enough without relocating to a totally new country. You have 101 decisions to make and it’s an overwhelming process for anyone.
You want to get it right, but the travel and logistics become a hassle, a large time commitment, and a financial burden… That’s where I come in.
With in-depth knowledge of the Scottish property market, access to exclusive listings, and a keen eye for detail, I help out-of-town buyers navigate the complex buying process, saving them time, money, and stress.
I’ll help you find the right new home
I’m always transparent about how I work—I’m not in business to make a quick buck. I’m here to genuinely support people to find their new dream home, ensuring it’s the right decision for them.
My core values are:
Providing excellent customer service
The property industry isn’t known for its attentive customer service. I wanted my professional property-finding service to be different – I truly care about giving incredible value to my customers.
Going above and beyond
I research anything you might possibly need to ensure you’re making the right decision. Whether that’s scoping the local area myself or sourcing additional suppliers, I’ll go that extra mile for you.
Adapting to your situation
Although I have a proven system for finding properties in Scotland that I’ve honed over the years, I fully believe there’s no set rulebook. I’ll always adapt my service to suit your needs and work to your timescale.
With me, you can move to Scotland with as little stress as possible.
Everyone should have an Alasdair in their lives. The stress that man has saved me—I can’t even put it into words, to be honest.
Alasdair’s service has been completely invaluable. It’s really good value for money because he literally did everything from scouring the listings, checking the home reports, going for viewings, and checking out the area.
I’d recommend Alasdair all day long… he gives it his all and wants you to find your forever home as much as you do.
